The Four Bells Harbour is always teeming with activity on a sunny afternoon. As the children fish for crabs in the shallow waters, the fishermen haul today’s catch onto the harbour, ready for tonight’s supper.

udging by the number of visitors each year, Castle Combe is certainly considered to be one of England’s prettiest villages. The only evidence of the original site of the castle is the earthworks on higher ground above the village itself. Originally a British hill fort, it was later taken over by the Romans and then enlarged into a castle by the Normans. Flying gracefully ove Lincoln Cathedral, these four aircraft highlight the importance of past and present UK air defence. The Lancaster and Spitfire are shown breaaking away from the formation to symbolise old heroes moving aside to make way for the Vulcan and a modern day fighter, the Typhoon, as the RAF continue thier story . This is reflected perfectly in the painting title.

The game includes 75 cases and each case is represented by a card that features a crime told in story form, a selection of probable suspects and a list of locations involved in that crime.Clues are hidden throughout London, one in each of fourteen locations. Players must collect clues from each location, noting them down on their checklists as they attempt to find the answers to the questions listed on the case card.Naturally, the crime scene will often contain vital clues, and a prudent detective always checks with the neighbours. A scene from the early 1950s at Braithwaite station near Bassenthwaite Lake. The locomotive train is a Webb ‘Cauliflower’ 0-6-0 and these venerable engines had been the mainstay of the Penrith-Keswick-Cockermouth line right up to that time. It also recalls a time when rural stations still had floral displays!
